General terms and conditions
We ask your attention for the general terms and conditions of Food Fantasies with regard to the catering commissions on location and receptions/cooking lessons on the Kerkstraat 176.
The parties
1) Food Fantasies, Kerkstraat 176 in Amsterdam, further to be named "FF" or "we".
2) The commissioning authority, further to be named "client" or "you".
General
These general terms and conditions are applicable to all agreements with regard to the products to be delivered by Food Fantasies or the services to be rendered. Food Fantasies can not be bound by acts and/or verbal agreements of persons who represent her unauthorized, unless the agreements have been confirmed in writing by persons who are authorized to do so.
Option
Food fantasies can give you an option free of obligation with regard to date time and venue. This is of effect for 7 days unless agreed to otherwise. You are requested to inform Food Fantasies as soon as possible whether you want to convert this option in a definite reservation. If in the mean time third parties want to make a reservation for the same date, we will notify you about this.
- Quotation
If Food Fantasies has issued you with a quotation, this is binding for a period of two weeks, calculated from the date of forwarding. After 14 days the offer expires, without a further forwarding from Food Fantasies being necessary. This term can be extended at client‘s request. - Prices for companies are excluding VAT and for private persons including VAT and are always excluding transport and parking costs.
- In case of an unforeseeable rise of cost decisive factors Food Fantasies can accordingly raise her prices mentioned in the quotation
- In case you agree with the quotation, you are requested return the copy signed for approval to Food Fantasies.
Choice of menu, wines and other such things fall under the responsibility of Food Fantasies.
For an optimal preparation we request you to state the choice of the menu, the wines and other such things under the responsibility of Food Fantasies at the latest 10 days before the commencement of your reservation. If you wish a certain diet for one of your guests, you can notify Food Fantasies about this 10 days before.
Guarantee conditions
We would like to be notified of the following definite information at the latest 14 days before commencement of your reservation:
1) the amount of guests, binding for the invoice;
2) the exact location and time limit;
3) additions with regard to rental articles;
4) the name and the address for forwarding the invoice;
5) other details such as serving personnel, wishes with regard to the flowers and other decoration.
Food Fantasies will carry out your instructions with great care.
Closing time
If you want to make use of location on the Kerkstraat for private dinners or other festive occasions, then we request you to take into account that Food Fantasies closes at 23.30 hours.
Liability / damage
Food Fantasies is entitled to charge the commissioner for possible damage to or loss of her properties and or rental articles. Food Fantasies is not liable for damage to or loss of the properties of the client and her guests.
Participants in the cooking lessons on the Kerkstraat must be aware that when they are in the kitchen and are handling the equipment and knives that they are at their own risk.
The kitchen is equipped with a simple first aid box.
Terms of payment
1) Down payment; We request you, within two weeks after the quotation has been agreed to yet at the latest 21 days before the commencement of your reservation, to transfer 50% of the quotation to giro account 902 7789 in the name of Food Fantasies indicating the time of the event.
2) Payment of the remainder of the invoice must be paid within two weeks to giro account 902 7789 in the name of Food Fantasies in Amsterdam indicating the invoice number.
3) Cancellation:
3a) If you cancel the reservation, this must be made known in writing to Food Fantasies as soon as possible. If the cancellation is done up to a maximum of 14 days before the commencement of your reservation you are paid back the complete down payment decreased by the management fee and the costs which have been made for you by Food Fantasies. If you cancel after this, then you are charged the complete quotation reduced by the offered drinks.
3b) Food Fantasies will not be held responsible to any form of reimbursement of costs if she can not fulfil her commitment as a result of force majeure. The term ’ force majeure‘ shall be taken to mean among other things: no delivery or overdue delivery by suppliers, transport/traffic problems, fire, leakage, power failures, theft and other unforeseeable circumstances.
